Methanogenesis

[edit]

What is the difference between this article on "Biological methanation" and methanogenesis?--Smokefoot (talk) 02:52, 11 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose to merge this article into methanogenesis. I am unaware of any biological methane-forming processes aside from methanogenesis, but welcome being corrected.--Smokefoot (talk) 14:16, 19 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Smokefoot, the article on biological methanation is about a technical process, used in power-to-gas-plants. It is of course possible to merge it into methanogenesis, but on the german Wikipedia it was accepted as a separate article. How shall we proceed? --Sabine von Falkenfels (talk) 13:27, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The articles do seem to have a different scope. I've added a template:about which might help to distinguish the scope on the Biological methanation page. Klbrain (talk) 19:32, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
